Reservations
Booking a ticket on this site reserves you a spot at the event. It's a reservation, not a completed sale, until payment is received.

Payment
We only accept MobilePay, and payment happens outside this website. Your confirmation shows the amount and MobilePay name to send it to. We don't process or store card payments here. Prepare to show your MobilePay receipt at the door from your phone.

Purchases are final
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If you can't make it, get in touch. We can usually transfer it to someone else's name instead, just email us and we'll sort it out.

Code of conduct
We expect everyone (dancers, teachers, DJs, guests, staff) to treat each other with respect. Discriminatory behaviour of any kind, including based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or culture, isn't tolerated, and we reserve the right to remove anyone behaving disrespectfully towards others.

Your safety
If anything about another person's behaviour makes you uncomfortable (unwanted contact, inappropriate comments, anything), please come find us. We take this seriously and will act, whether that means a quiet word or asking someone to leave.

Alcohol and drugs
Illegal drugs are never allowed at our events. Alcohol, where the venue permits it, should be enjoyed in moderation.

Photos and videos
We often take photos and videos at our events and may use them to promote Pura Timba and future parties.

Changes and cancellations
Occasionally we may need to change an event's details, lineup, or timing. We'll reach out to everyone who's booked if that happens. If we have to cancel an event outright, you'll get your ticket price back: we can't cover other costs like travel.

At the event
Attendance and participation in our events, including dancing and any physical activity, is entirely at your own risk. Dancing involves close physical contact and inherent risk of injury, and by attending you accept that risk. Pura Timba, its organizers, teachers, and volunteers are not responsible for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to your belongings. Any damage you cause to the venue is your responsibility to make right with us directly.
